AfroHub listings should help visitors make informed choices. Submissions may be reviewed before publication and may be corrected, suspended or removed when they do not meet these standards.
Required standards
- Relevant: the business or service should serve or be meaningfully connected with Afro communities.
- Accurate: names, descriptions, locations, links and contact details must be truthful and current.
- Authorized: submitters must be permitted to represent the business or clearly identify a listing as community-supplied.
- Useful: profiles should include enough information for a visitor to understand the offering.
- Original and lawful: do not upload copied, misleading, discriminatory, illegal or rights-infringing material.
Not accepted
- Duplicate, test, placeholder or keyword-stuffed listings.
- Fake addresses, reviews, claims, contact details or business identities.
- Listings created primarily for spam, affiliate links or unrelated promotion.
- Content that exposes personal information without a lawful basis.
